As an artist and designer, I manipulate pigments, pixels, and forms but most of all I manipulate thoughts and feelings. I reach many different ends through my work, all of, which strive to make a consumer out of my viewer. Whether someone observes my manipulations in the gallery, online, or in print they reach my desired response through patronage, a political reaction, a feeling, or a simple laugh. However, as a marketing professional, I believe that as a society bombarded by media, reaching consumers takes more than a clever jingle or witty tagline. Therefore, I strive to reach my audiences on a different level, reaching them not just as commercial consumers but as social beings.
